Contest Winner With Convert 2 Media Two Times This Month

I woke up pretty early today (5:15 am), and as usual checked my email before anything else including brushing my teeth. Anyways I do Internet marketing and one of the companies (Convert2Media.com) I work with was holding 2 contests this month, one was for a $250 cash prize and the other contest gave you the chance to win one of 3 prizes:

  1. 55″ Samsung LCD-LED HDTC – (Publisher chose a cash equivalent)
  2. 27″ iMac (24″ is no longer so he got one bigger!)
  3. Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSI

I came in 3rd so I got the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSI. The camera is worth about $850, so I might just take the cash equivalent if I can. I already own a super simple but great Canon SD750, that does the job I need it to.

Realistically the contest is not the reason I even ran the offers to begin with, but  what the hell if I’m going to get some gravy on top of my sales then why not right?

Anyways that was a nice surprise to wake up to a little extra gravy on my next check, Thanks to Ruck and the C2M Boys!

Happy Canadian Thanks Giving Day

Well Happy Canadian Thanks Giving Day to everyone out in Internet land. I know our neighbours to the south have their Thanks Giving Day in November.  Anyone living in Canada has lots of to be grateful for.

Sometimes I don’t realize how good we have it in Canada, but if you compare to almost 99% of the world  then you start to realize how lucky we really are. We have tons of open space, a stable economy (with little recession problems), stable political environment, tons of opportunities here if you want to make it big financially, great place to raise families and so much more. Yes I have bitched tons about the weather in Vancouver, when it’s raining but overall it’s hard to beat.

That is the reason real estate continues to rise here all the time (unlike almost everywhere else), everyone wants to live here.

  • Where you rather live, India or here?
  • Where you rather live, China or here?
  • Where you rather live, Philippines or here?
  • and so on…

It’s  all about the quality of life here in Canada,  something I have personally taken for granted for a long time. If you ever watch the movie Sicko, then you realize we have it better even than the USA. They need to pay for expensive heath care insurance in the good ole States, we get it free (through our taxes but still..)

So today think about how lucky you are to have what you have. I am grateful for everything in my life, and wouldn’t change a thing. And some people wanted to know how my 7k profit per day was going, let me just say it’s climbing up there now. Don’t ask for my traffic sources, took me a long time to find decent places with trial and error. DON’T ASK!!!!! I am not there yet but at this rate I should reach my goal. You’re not the only one in shock, so am I. Let’s just say that the law of attraction and writing down your goals works. Obviously you need to work at it however you gravitate towards what you focus (work) on.  It always amazes when I write down goals then they come true.

Just like when I said I wanted to buy 2-3 condos by the end of the year,  it happened. Write down your goal and work towards them. It’s a simple process that will change you life if you want it to happen and work towards it.

Oh and October 10th 1999 was the day I left my “stable carpenter job”, 10 years ago to join the dotcom revolution. Now I make more in 1 day than I did in 1 month working there.  It’s my 10 year anniversary, some people thought I couldn’t do it but I proved them all wrong. I knew very little about computers when I left my job, but I took a 6 month internet development course and went from there. I have never worked as hard as I have in the last 10 years but it was worth every swear word and every simple moment of pain and stress.

Don’t let anyone hold you back, usually the people who try to hold you back are the ones who are too scared to do anything themselves. Follow your inner self and you will be ok.

Believe in You.

It’s Official, Las Vegas Is My 2nd Home!

Well, in my last post I mentioned I put offers on 6 different properties in Las Vegas. I am very, very happy to be able to say that the place I wanted the most is now mine (after I get it inspected). I put an offer on a 3 bedroom 1500 square foot condo/town house in a gated resort like community but there was already an accepted offer, so I was too late. Luckily for me that deal fell through for the other buyer and since my offer was second they accepted my offer and it’s mine!!

A place like this in Vancouver would EASILY cost $350,000 or probably more. I bought this place for $99,000 U.S which is a steal, considering this exact place was going for $230-245,000 just 2 years ago!! And don’t tell me about the U.S. recession, big deal. The economy will bounce back, prices on these places have gone up about $10,000 since March 2009, when prices stopped falling in Las Vegas.

The place is a 3 bedroom, carpeted with tile in the kitchen, granite counter tops through out the property. It has 2 full bathrooms (tub in 1 shower in other), in suite laundry (washer/dryer), small patio area, and a 2 car garage, which is awesome to have. People might think I’m nuts for buying so far away from Vancouver, but with such low prices it makes WAY MORE sense to buy in Las Vegas than say a place such as  Kelowna. Even if I have to fly the whole family there it’s still  way cheaper than buying a place in Kelowna or whatever for like $275,00 – $300,000. Besides the appreciation on a place is Vegas will rise much more than Kelowna, because it has dropped so much.

I’m nervous and excited all in the same wind…

These photos were taken off of a website, the place is actually completely vacant now, as it is a foreclosure property and owned by one of the banks.

Real Estate Outlook 2010 By Ozzie Jurock

Real Estate Outlook 2009 is upon us. Ozzie Jurock is putting it on once again. I have gained tons of useful information from his seminars over the years and this will be no different. Actually the reason I am buying in Las Vegas is because of Ozzie’s advice. It is also the reason I bought my 3 condos in the Vancouver area and anything else I did with real estate. I personally owe Ozzie quite a bit, he doesn’t even know who I am however he changed my life, and set me for life.

If you are serious about getting rich in real estate and you live in Vancouver, you need to be at this  real estate convention. I can get your free tickets if you want, just email me right away. And the BEST part for me is he is going to be talking about Las Vegas. He has a Las Vegas realtor  who flew up today and will be speaking at the seminar.  The realtor’s name, David Brownell! Yep the same guy I am using to buy real estate in Vegas. I got the name from the Ozzie newsletter way back in March of this year. Like I said I owe alot to Ozzie Jurock!

Anyways, now is the time to buy real estate in Las Vegas, and if you sit on the sidelines it will pass you by. Rent will cover the mortgage  and then some. Positive cash flow is the name of the game.

Enough said email me if you free tickets for this!

Las Vegas Here I Come!

It’s official I booked my flight for Las Vegas and will be there  Sunday evening.  I spoke about buying condos in Las Vegas earlier this year but I never actually did anything about it, until now. I’m ready to buy at least one 3 bedroom town house as  my vacation home, and possibly another for rental income. This has  been an unwritten goal of mine for a little while now, having  a place in  a hot climate.

How can you go wrong buying a 1500 square foot 3 bedroom townhouse, with 2 car garage that is 3 years old for $75,000 – $85,000?  Easy, you can’t. I don’t give a shit about the “recession”, or the swine flu or whatever else the media is shoving down our throats. I’m pretty stoked about having  a place in a hot climate. When the weather turns to crap here I’ll be jumping on a plane south. I plan on staying at least 1-2 months per year, at least until the kids get into elementary school.

photos below are one of the townhouses I will be checking out, so amazing!!!

I have a bunch of stuff to think about after I buy my place:

  1. transportation when we are down there (we can bring my wifes Honda Civic that’s been in storage for the last 4 years, & leave it there…)
  2. furnishing the place (no Ikea in Vegas I checked…)
  3. household stuff (cooking utensils, TV, dishes etc…)

Am I nervous? Yes, but this is something I’ve been wanting for a little while. The prices have stabilized in Las Vegas but they are still super cheap, 50% of what they were before the sh*t hit the fan in the U.S. The time to act is now, before prices start increasing. What the hell can you buy in Vancouver, for $85,000? Nothing you got it. Anyone can buy a place in Las Vegas with a retarded low price like that.

Here is a link to 15  condos my realtor  David Brownell emailed me to look at. Take a look at what you can get for $85,000 U.S!!! Why the hell are we in Vancouver?!? I can’t get over the prices down there, I mean seriously. A 3 bedroom 1500 square foot condo built in 2005 in Vancouver would easily be $300,000!!!

Hopefully by next week I can blog about my new condo in Vegas (pictures too)! I’m out.[ad]
