Michael Jackson: August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009

It’s pretty crazy that Michael Jackson is dead, (& Farrah Fawccet). I wasn’t  his biggest fan but he had good music that spanned over 4  decades. He died in over $300 million in debt and possibly because of a prescription drug overdose. Even if you have money like Michael did , so fucking what?! In the end it may be money that ruined him.  It’s a day I won’t forget, just when Princess Diana was killed (I was in Whistler). You always remember where you were when big events such as this happen. September 11, 2001 is another one that feels like yesterday, even though it has been 7 years. Life is fragile and days like these help me appreciate all I have and all that I am grateful for. Enough on that.

Have a great weekend, it’s Friday. Have a good one.

Don’t Leave Your BBQ On!

Sometimes I wonder where my f*cking head is. Yesterday we had some awesome Italian sausage from Columbus Meat Market.  I fired up the BBQ to cook the sausage and when it was almost done I lowered the heat. I took the meat off after 5 minutes but I forgot to turn off the bbq! I then put the black bbq protector cover on the BBQ and had lunch. Like 2 hours later wifey is asking why the BBQ is still hot. Needless to say dipsh*t (me), left it on for like 2 hours! I snapped 2 photos of the plastic water nozzle that was sitting on top of the BBQ. I don’t even want to think about if I left that on all night, house catches fire perhaps?!?! I’m luckier than I think I am, be grateful for what you have you jackass (me). I could of had less to be grateful for if my house caught fire, enough said…

The Dancing Donkey

Saturday sillyness: It’s fun to see OTHER people looking like mules. This chap actually gets paid to dance on Lougheed Highway in Burnaby. He works for Church’s Chicken and has been doing this for at least the last 4 months, rain or shine, snow, hail,  or even hurricane he is out there dancing his thing (whatever it is that he does..).  I give him credit because he gets paid to dance like a donkey, and probably eats tons of free chicken. Mackdaddy…

we went to Maple Ridge this afternoon to visit my brother who’s camping there but couldn’t find his camp ground, so we drove around a bit and then went home. What a bust…  And he has no cell phone reception so I couldn’t even tell him we couldn’t find the damn camp ground.

The Rocky Road Of Internet Marketing

Today I feel like I am at a cross road. My Internet marketing business seems to slowly be dying (the offers I am promoting anyways). As hard as it is to swallow I made a ton of cash online. My question is, is it over? I have no clue, but I have been in these situations enough in the past 5 years to know that something grand is waiting for me at the end of the tunnel. Every time things go to hell somehow I bounce back with something else and make even MORE money. I’m unsure how it works or why it happens but that has been the rule of the land for the last 5 years.

I find it hard to be motivated  in front of the laptop as of late. All these “problems” are not caused by me, never have been. But one thing I do tend to do is go for the quick bucks, not always but sometimes. Perhaps I am setting myself up for these situations. I could go work a 9-5 and feel “secure”, but that secure feeling is a jail sentence to me. And I don’t need the 9-5 job.

I think the best thing for me to do is just let it ride out. I dunno where I am headed, but the ride this far has been a blast to say the least. Ten years ago I would have never dreamed I would be where I am today…   I am grateful for how my life has turned out, so lets see what the future holds. Even though I’m not in the best mood cause of this shit, some how it will work out, it always does some how…..

The Weekend Wrap Up

Last night wifey and myself along with friends, Remo and Mirella went to the Grand Villa Casino in Burnaby.  We had a few beers and played the famous penny slots. I ended up loosing  a whopping $2.37. I don’t go to casinos to make money or barely spend money. Pure mindless entertainment is what a slot machine can offer…

Remo playing the penny slots at the Grand Villa Casino. He’s more  a poker player, me on the other hand? Meh, I don’t play poker. I tried it a few times with the helper cards and it was fun though.

The slot machine I played for about 15 minutes. After the casino we went back to my place and watched “Bride Wars” (chick flick), with Anne Hathaway and Kate Hudson. We started falling asleep during the movie so I paused it and will watch the rest tonight with wifey. We can barely ever watch a whole movie, we end up falling asleep or the kids wake up and cry or whatever…

Under video survaillance? Oh really and looks what was next to this warning (see pic below).  Right next to Petcetera (parking lot) on Grandview Highway and Rupert Street. Nice surveillance, someone’s sleeping…

“Copy”

Read above..

After waiting in the car for my wife to buy a few things at SuperStore we went to the Tim Horton’s drive thru in North Van, on the way to Deep Cove.

Arrive at Deep Cove and I snap a few more pics…

Deep Cove is such a relaxing place, it feels like I’m on vacation every time I am there.  And it’s only about 15 minutes away from where I live….

This made me have a little chuckle. I guess someone in the District Of North Vancouver Parks Department has a sense of humor, good for you!

A pic of  The downtown East Side Fire Department mural located right across from the Number 5 Orange in downtown Vancouver. That’s all for the updates folks.[ad#ad-1]
