Diversify Or Die – Have PPC Eggs In Many Baskets

eggsPutting all your eggs in one basket, something that many people seem to do when working online. It’s easy to when you find something that is working great why bother diversifying? There are numerous reasons to diversify your online income. If the big money maker you have been raking in $1000s from suddenly dies then you’re screwed.

If the niche you are promoting becomes over saturated by other affiliates then what? You need to think ahead and so do I. Years ago when I first started making money online, I created about 20 sites on different niches ranging from coffee machines, rc cars, cell phones, hdtv and others.  Back then I didn’t pay for traffic like I do now. Instead I used to write content that ranked high in the search engines and I received organic search traffic for me, pretty cool right? Actually it was nice while it lasted but then Google did one of there famous updates and all my organic traffic started to crumble, I still had Yahoo and MSN but eventually it all fizzled away.

I had to adapt or die and I did, this is part of the reason I got into PPC marketing. I needed to make money or what, find a  job? HELL NO!

I’m starting to feel the need to spread my eggs around in different baskets, and this is part of this weeks goal. I am going to start researching new niches, completely different from what I do now.

Next Weeks Goals & Gay Pride Day Parade In Vancouver

Today we are going to check out Vancouver Pride Day Parade, even though it’s not something I consider a family event it has all the factors a parade would have from, crazy costumes, balloons and clowns (hopefully they’re clothed!). But not a family parade as some people tend to describe it as. In any case it’s a fun day, me along with 350,000 other Vancouverites thought so as well. Happy Pride!

Next weeks to do list:

  • trim the fat off of my PPC (pay per click) ad campaigns too save money on clicks
  • build more campaigns to expand on the current niche I am promoting
  • find more P campaigns to use
  • work on my landing pages to bring the bounce rate down
  • write some more articles for my sites
  • find new niches, for more $$

Summer Days

A lack of posts can only mean one thing, the weather must be hot and sunny! And, yes it is finally warm in Vancouver. I am spending more time outdoors, yard work, walks around English Bay and spending time with family. And even if I wanted to work, Google told me to get lost. Sometimes the best thing you can do is to nothing at all. You get to clear out your head, and unwind and then comeback full blast, better and stronger than before.

I still have my goal of $20,000 per month from my investment properties one way or another it will happen. Just let the law of attraction works it’s magic as always, ask and you shall receive. Anyways…………….

Time to sit back and watch “Made Of Honor”, yeah a chick flick. Patrick Dempsey is in it, it doesn’t look too bad actually. A romantic comedy, it’s a good way to unwind and relax after the kids fall asleep. Approximate time till movie kids will sleep and we watch the movie (36 minutes). It’s 9:24 pm right now.

The Rocky Road To Financial Success

About one week ago, I posted about my AdWords account being suspended obviously I wasn’t very happy about the situation but I learned to live with it. I couldn’t do anything about it. One thing I have learned with working online for the past 5 years is to take everything that happens good and bad and learn from it.

You can make huge money online, and I have done my fair share. With this latest situation, it was unexpected however I learned from it. With every drawback I have ever had online I came back stronger and I made more money  after the “crisis”, this last AdWords fiasco is going to be no different.

After I basically had a heart attack from being “suspended from AdWords”, I started thinking about how I can get back on the railroad to success. Since I already have the tracks laid out for me, it is just a matter of jumping into the engineers seat and taking control of the train . I am basically set and ready to go full speed ahead.

My goals haven’t changed I still want my to buy investment properties to make me my $20 k per month, I am already 25% of the way there. That part is easy and I know where to buy , it’s just a matter of when I want to make the down payments and but my Vancouver condo apartments.

Nothing is going to stop me, nothing. I have worked way to hard to stop and kickback now. A drawback is just that a drawback, it’s not the end of the world, unless you think it is.  I have gone through so many online drawbacks online, it’s insane. You definitely need tough skin and perseverance to work online. The problem with giving up is this, you will never what could have become because you just let it go. You went back to playing your Guitar Hero, or you went back to watch SeinFeld.

You need to realize many times the answers to your questions are right in front of you, you just need to find the answers. Finding the answers is sometimes easy and sometimes really tough, but either way it’s there waitng for you to find it. The question is this, do you have the faith in yourself to find the answers to move forward?

I don’t consider myself a scholar by any means. Hell I only graduated grade 12 and went to a local computer college for web design. Oh and I also have a certificate as a journeyman cabinet maker. Something more important that schooling is smarts, is YOUR ability to trust yourself and your instincts.  You need to have balls, taking risks to succeed is critical. The more chances you take, the better chance you have of making tons of cash online. And “paralysis analysis” is another huge problem for tons of people. They know how to do pay per click, they know all the terms and everything. But they never get started, why? Paralysis analysis…..

If I never quit my job as a cabinet maker making $17.27 per hour back in 1989, where would I be right now? It scares me to think about it actually.  You need to consider, the risk and then decide what are the consequences, and if it’s worth taking the chance.

Ans don’t listen to the naysayers, they are usually the ones who have never taken a chance in their whole lives. Boring people who offer nothing but negative criticism. Yeah I’m babbling on now.

Here is the bottom line

I don’t know what you think you can do or what you can think I can do, but remember this. The only thing holding you back from anything is you. Yeah, yeah I know things get in the way, but if you want something bad enough you can have it. I’m going to come back even stronger than before, don’t let anyone hold you back EVER, not even yourself.

Where are you going to be in 5 years from now? Start writing down your goals, so you know………

Recent Important Developments In My Life – Ooooh

Ok, the title is dramatic, sue me, lol.I had a few minutes to spare before I head over to my parents place for Saturday night BBQ.

What has been going on with me the last few days?

  1. I sold my 4plex in Winnipeg, so I celebrated last night by buying a bag of Doritos chips and a bag of that Smart food popcorn stuff  from 7-11, yah, yah, yah!
  2. I planted grass seeds 15 days ago and they are growing and filling in the blank spots I had on my lawn, yah!
  3. I have the SpiderMan 3 move as well as the Fantastic 4 movie downloaded and ready to be watched tonight, yah!

Next Weeks Agenda:

  1. Start checking out investment condos in New Westminster next week for under $220,000 (Ozzie Jurock recommended New West condos as a good buy, I agree) Ozzie says, “We particularly favour New Westminster, but investors have to be careful. There is a lot happening in the Royal City and despite a “benchmark” price of a typical condominium at $304,000 in May, according to the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, we had little trouble finding condos for $200,000 or just slightly above. Warning: you will see listings in New West for condos as low as the $150,000, but most of these are clustered in three leaky condo buildings. (Eg: low-rise 312 Carnarvon – $1.5-$2 million in repairs needed – realtor’s estimate) and two high-rises on Agnes St. (assessments to $100,000 per suite for repairs).” But there are renovated older New West condo buildings (watch for listings on Ginger Street) that offer good value in the $200,000 and less range, according to veteran area realtor Doris Gee of ReMax Central (604-432-7888). Example: 340 Ginger Ave. 830 sq. ft. 1 bedroom, no restrictions, strata fees $159 per month: Asking price $189,000.
  2. Increase sales on my pay per click campaigns, I will not be stopped! I want my 20 investment properties, 17 more to go. Big dream maybe, but even bigger reality.
  3. Pray for more sun (Today is sunny, but will it remain???)
