Weight Loss Update

Well I’m still on my weight loss goal, I am down to 183.5 lbs, not bad, but could be better. I am eating fruit after 8 pm and some peanuts to calm my hunger, lol. Basically I am doing the Atkins diet, but not as extreme as how the diet is done. I still have carbs, but no junk food, no pop, no pasta, little bread. I do eat cheese, all types of meats, fruits, nuts and everything else.

Deep Cove In North Vancouver

I really love North Vancouver’s Deep Cove, a beautiful getaway 15 minutes from home. The place is just beautiful, and a perfect place to test out my Canon SD 750. I never took any shot of the 2 blocks of shops, but I love it. I think I found my new summer weekend retreat. Damn, if I find a wireless connection there I might be doing my affiliate marketing right from the park all summer.

Sometimes you need to take a break, I work to live, not live work. At least most of the time….

West Vancouver A Magical Place Of Success

The West Vancouver Park Royal Village is a magical place, that probably has the largest assortment of wealthy people in one shopping area. I mean where else can you see Aston Martin cars, Bentleys, Porsches, Mercedes, BMW’s etc all in one place?

As Roberto said “he loves the vibe there”, I have to agree. Being around successful people makes me want to strive for even more. Am I materialistic, I don’t think so. I don’t need or want a Bentley, but I want to be the best at what I do. Why is that? Hmm, I think it’s like a game, we are all players in the game of life, like it or not. Do you want to play to win or just squeeze by? I want to be on the winning team, it’s always more fun when your the one who scores the goal. Are you trying to score? I am.

People always seem to think being wealthy means you need to be selfish, a snob, or greedy? Why is it so wrong to be rewarded for the many hours you spend trying to achieve your goal? If the people who bitch about successful people got off their asses and put down that bag of Dorito chips, then maybe they would get somewhere to. Not all people are born rich, take a risk, try something new, and then you will know what successful people go through to get to where they are. It’s easy being “safe”, but it’s boring and you won’t get anywhere quick watching that rerun of Seinfeld.

Yikes, am I being crusty? I hope not! Just giving everyone a reality check, myself included. If your’e not happy in your current situation start doing something about it. Then go to the West Van Village and have a coffee, feel the positive energy, and take some home with you it’s free. Our lives are what we choose them to be. What are you choosing for yourself? Tell me.

And to the people in the Park Royal Village, good for you. You deserve the success you have achieved, your successes are an inspiration to me, and Roberto I’m sure.

Rainy Saturday In Vancouver, Again…

Vancouver rain

Another rainy Saturday In Vancouver, this is getting silly. It’s May and Spring is here but where is the sun? No wonder we have soo many coffee shops, you want to go out but staying outside sucks, so we all head to Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Caffè Artigiano or Blendz. Well, baby Matteo, my wife and myself are heading out to the West Vancouver Village (Stefania is going to Nonna & Nonnos house) for some good tasting coffee at Caffè Artigiano (real Italian coffee, not Starbucks Italian wannabee crap).

It’s a good day to test out the new Canon sd750 I bought as well. Sometimes I need a break from affiliate marketing ya know? Time to roll out, meet me in West Van at the village.

Canon SD750 – I bought It A BestBuy

I bought the Canon SD750 digital camera from BestBuy in Burnaby, discounted price for around $200. It’s a 7.1 Megapixel Canon with 3x Optical Zoom lens, pretty sweet. I had a Sony CyberShot 2.0 camera that was getting old as hell, I used it for 5 years, so time for a new one. For 2.0 to 7.1 megapixels, just a wee bit of difference. The SD750 can shoot in really low light, it has ISO 1600, so you can get it shoots in any type of poor light source. I’ll be taking some shots soon enough.
