The Venetian & New York, New York Hotel in Vegas

I have been a tour guide the last week, while my parents have come down for a visit. We checked out a bunch of the casino hotels and for this post we visited The Venetian, as well as New York, New York. The go balls out in these hotels because they want you to come and visit them, so they do super elaborate things that will blow you away.

seriously, this is funny as hell. I have nothing against anyone I just thought this was funny.

This is inside the Venetian hotel, they have their own water ways in the hotel, and also outside of it. It’s truly insane..

This is a town square inside The Venetian hotel, it looks like it’s daytime even thought it was 8:00 pm… Unreal..

Merry Christmas

the gondolas coming down the canal. The lineup to get on a gondola was easily over 1.5 hours.

This is inside New York, New York Hotel, it looks like they pulled it brick from brick from lower Manhattan and brought it out here to the desert. Balls out!

This is inside a hotel, complete with Sirrico’s Italian pizza place and GreenBurg’s Jewish deli, just like NYC. Which way to Brooklyn? Fugedaboutit!

Yes this is in a hotel..

Us rolling back to North Las Vegas from the strip, how peaceful, awwwwwwww.

Our Las Vegas Chateau Versailles 3 BedRoom Condo

Some friends and family wanted to see video of our place here in Las Vegas, so I did a quick video of the place room to room. This is what you can get for $100,00 US, in a foreclosure market and this is the more expensive condos on the market, amazing deals here in Vegas.

Anyways the video is below, I need to get on the exercise bike at the gym to burn ff some of the Doritos I ate last night, ugh!

Caesars Palace Forum Shops In Las Vegas

Living in Sin City enables me to take lots of photographs since there are tons of things that are new to me. I am basically a tourist in my own city.  Yesterday we took the old folks (my parents are visiting for 1 week) to check out Caesars Palace  Forum Shops, which looks like something that was stolen right out of Roman times. It’s really an amazing place to walk around and see the architecture, very slick stuff.

Besides all the Roman architecture, the place is basically one big shopping mall, the look and feel are designed to get you to visit it and then spend money in the Caesar shops (didn’t work on me). They have everything you can think of from Hugo Boss, Victoria Secret and even Apple computer there.

Tomorrow night we’re going to check out The Venetian.

Looks like the  Bonanza ranch

Thanks For The Garmin GPS Device Guys

I just want to thank the affiliate managers over at Various for sending me the sweet GPS, it is the best Christmas gift I could have asked for, since I have been printing out directions to get around Las Vegas the last 3 weeks.  I have gotten lost enough times to realize I need help finding my way around this town, the Garmin GPS  device rocks! It tells me exactly where to go, where to turn and how far I still have until I reach my destination.

They were going to send me a Kindle for my Christmas gift, but I don’t read books. I read everything online and when  am away from the computer the last thing I want to do is read from another screen. They asked what I wanted besides a Kindle and my wife said why not ask for a GPS device so we can use it around Las Vegas, so we won’t get lost anymore. Two days later a brown cardboard box arrived and boom, there it is.

We used it tonight to get to and from the movie theater (we watched New Moon) and damn do I love the GPS. I never have to print directions again, ever.Type in your location and your destination on the touch screen and it does the rest for you. It actually talks to you and tells you where to turn etc, pretty cool gadget.

That’s a nice time saver for me! Giddy Up!! It’s always nice to be appreciated for the work and traffic I send your way, thanks again.

The Multiple Faces Of A JackAss

Sitting in the mini van I rented, chillin in the Target parking lot waiting for my wife, I had my digital camera and “who cares what people think about me” attitude. The results are below. I had nothing else to do so I took a bunch of pics of me looking like a jackass, enjoy. Sometimes you just need to be a fool, it’s good for you just like organic food.

All sad and pouty, boo hoo. Did I spell pouty right, I hope so?

Maybe I’m starting to lose my mind, hooray for me.. If you can’t laugh at yourself, then you suck! Back to work.
