Always Look Ahead – The Big Picture

I remember saying to coworkers in my cabinet shop that I want to retire by 40 yrs of age, I was about 26 years old at the time. I didn’t know how I would get there, but I did want to retire by 40. The big reason I wanted to retire is because I hated my job. I’m 37 now and I actually can retire by 40 years of age. That is an amazing feat, and I am very proud of myself for what I have accomplished.

But, I have to tell you how many obstacles I have come across getting to where I am. From switching careers, to get laid off every 6 months (because of dotcom crash), to learning new software, pay per click marketing, search engine marketing and learning real estate investing. It has been a crazy ride, but I wouldn’t change a thing about it.

The amount I have learned about life and myself in the last 8.5 years is incredible to me. I am the person I was meant to be now. When I was working as a cabinet maker, I knew there was more out there, instead of the 9-5 daily grind in a low paying job.

I thank myself, my family and the law of attraction for giving me what I want. I wrote down my goals and they gravitated towards me like a magnet.I always looked ahead and I saw the big picture. You can do what you want, just believe in yourself….

Finally A New Blog Design Thats Looks Decent

I have updated my blog with a new design, the other design was 1/2 ass and way to clunky. It basically looked like crap, this is more my style. Now I feel more comfortable posting, since I can bear to look at the design now, lol.

Hey Rob what do you think, like it better?  I need to fix a few things , such as icons and a few things on the style sheet but overall this is the new look.

Ever wonder what would happen if you died today. All your passwords, your MySpace and FaceBook accounts? Somehow I found this site, it’s insane people would com eup with such a crazy business idea. A website called FinalShutDown takes care of all your loose ends online when you die.

This is a quote for the site, “Have you ever thought about what will happen to your online social presence once you pass on? Has it ever occurred to you that some unfinished business may still exist in an Inbox on your Myspace of Facebook? Or Even worse, a skeleton of the past maybe lerking in an email account that’s just waiting to be discovered.

Final Shutdown has now taken all the worry out of this. Our new service handles your complete online existence after you pass on. We make sure all loose ends are tied and everything is shutdown peacefully allowing you to enjoy your eternal rest and ensuring your remembered in Life as you were in death.

We also act as personal handlers for your social accounts when you may out of reach a compute. We handle account maintenance (shutdown, suspension), message maintenance (monitoring, removal, and more.”

FireFox Extensions To make Your Life Easier

firefox-extensions.gifI didn’t feel like working on my Google campaigns this morning, so I was surfing and decided to see if there were any FireFox extensions to make my life easier. One thing I hate doing is filling out forms and passwords. Check out the extensions I use, might be helpful to your daily tasks.

FireFox Extensions

  1. InFormEnter 0.5.5 – InFormEnter adds a small, clickable icon next to every input field in a web form, from where you can select the item to be inserted – no typing required. You can configure it to display your frequently used information such as name, email, address.
  2. Active Whois plugin – If you regularly check whois information of web domains then this extension will save you tons of time. You can easily get details about any Web site owner and its host server
  3. IMacros – This pluggin is designed to automate the most repetitious tasks on the web (can record any sequence of events on your web browser). If there’s an activity you have to do repeatedly, just record it in iMacros. The next time you need to do it, the entire macro will run at the click of a button!
