Recent Important Developments In My Life – Ooooh

Ok, the title is dramatic, sue me, lol.I had a few minutes to spare before I head over to my parents place for Saturday night BBQ.

What has been going on with me the last few days?

  1. I sold my 4plex in Winnipeg, so I celebrated last night by buying a bag of Doritos chips and a bag of that Smart food popcorn stuff  from 7-11, yah, yah, yah!
  2. I planted grass seeds 15 days ago and they are growing and filling in the blank spots I had on my lawn, yah!
  3. I have the SpiderMan 3 move as well as the Fantastic 4 movie downloaded and ready to be watched tonight, yah!

Next Weeks Agenda:

  1. Start checking out investment condos in New Westminster next week for under $220,000 (Ozzie Jurock recommended New West condos as a good buy, I agree) Ozzie says, “We particularly favour New Westminster, but investors have to be careful. There is a lot happening in the Royal City and despite a “benchmark” price of a typical condominium at $304,000 in May, according to the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, we had little trouble finding condos for $200,000 or just slightly above. Warning: you will see listings in New West for condos as low as the $150,000, but most of these are clustered in three leaky condo buildings. (Eg: low-rise 312 Carnarvon – $1.5-$2 million in repairs needed – realtor’s estimate) and two high-rises on Agnes St. (assessments to $100,000 per suite for repairs).” But there are renovated older New West condo buildings (watch for listings on Ginger Street) that offer good value in the $200,000 and less range, according to veteran area realtor Doris Gee of ReMax Central (604-432-7888). Example: 340 Ginger Ave. 830 sq. ft. 1 bedroom, no restrictions, strata fees $159 per month: Asking price $189,000.
  2. Increase sales on my pay per click campaigns, I will not be stopped! I want my 20 investment properties, 17 more to go. Big dream maybe, but even bigger reality.
  3. Pray for more sun (Today is sunny, but will it remain???)

Weekend Ramblings & Goals For The Next Week

Moving my sites over to the new LiquidWeb hosting has been a pain, and I haven’t even tried to transfer this blog over yet. I have never transferred a blog over from one web host to another. I found a few tutorials that should make it pretty easy to move this blog with ease.

For the next week I have a few goals that I want to achieve:

  1. I am going to implement the free pay per click tracking software called Prospero202, so I can cut wasted clicks that don’t convert into buyers. A penny saved is a penny earned, if I cut my pay per click costs that is money in my pocket. Why spend more than I need to, seems silly.
  2. I plan to add to my daily pay per click budget to maximize the amount of clicks I am receiving from my current pay per click campaigns. If you are maxing out your daily budget my 12pm , then you are loosing money for no reason.
  3. I will be expanding more into the niche that is making me the most money. I was trying a few other niches with some success, but it’s always smartest to expand into an area that you are already an expert in. There is less to learn if you already have experience in that market, and your chances of making more money in the same niche is quite high since you are already successful in it.
  4. I will try to lower some bids on certain ad groups to get the best return for the money I spend.

Bugs In The Offline Google AdWords Editor

Google placement targeting problems with AdWords offline editor

I have been using the off line downloadable Google AdWords Editor to build and manage my campaigns for the last week. The software works awesome, its a huge time saver. This is one problem though…. When I tried to build Google placement targeted campaigns I could build them but I couldn’t upload the campaigns to my AdWords account. And also another bug is that you cannot do CPC (cost per click) for placement targeted campaigns, you can only bid on CPM (cost per impression). My solution? I just did the placement target campaigns online in my AdWords account. I hope the AdWords team will see this.

Other Google Placement Problems

A weird thing about placement targeting sometimes they begin running and others time they just site there. There is no explanation why the ad group isn’t running either. I don’t understand Google, I love doing placement targeting campaigns I just wish they would work all the time or at least tell me what the hell is going on. If I did something wrong , inform me. I am trying to spend money and I am left in the dark without a clue sometimes. If other brick and mortar companies ran their business this way, they would be out of business. Google please start to respect your customers more please! We made you who you are, we spend $1000s every day. All we want is what we deserve.

On My Way To $100,000 A Month

I was thinking about my goals today and I want to make $100,00 month in profit smily face. I’m not sure when I want to achieve this by. 100k a month would be 1.2 million per year, not too shabby. I really believe I can and will do this, but by what date? If you have a goal you need to have a date as to when it will be achieved by. I think I can pull this off by September 2008, so that gives me like 5 months to a little over doubling my affiliate marketing income. Can I do it? Hell yeah! I don’t have it all figured out, but it will happen. The law of attraction will do it’s magic, along with me working hard and will become a reality for me. smily face

I need to branch out into different niches to achieve my goal, and then from there I need to scale my pay per click campaigns to their maximum potential. It’s amazing the amount of money you can pull in with pay per click marketing, it’s unreal. This is not some cake walk though, you really need to know lots of different areas in order to really succeed at internet marketing.

Skills you need to be a good internet marketer:

  1. web design/layout – designing your own websites & landing pages (photoshop skills, design skills)
  2. html/php – coding your own websites, blog & landing pages
  3. copy writing – writing effective PPC ads & copy for your websites/ landing pages
  4. research – this is the most important factor. You need the ability to dig into a niche and find ways to generate traffic (even in competitive niches).

The last part I added because some friends were asking about how you do pay per click, hopefully they read this and understand it’s not nearly as easy as they think. Anyone can do PPC marketing as long as you’re willing to work 12 hours a day and already have a good portion of the skills I listed above. You need to have the drive to do ANYTHING to achive your goal. A real burning desire and commitment to “make it happen”.

Th reason I blog about how much I want to make financially is because this is how I reach my goals by writing them down, it helps so do it. Don’t just sit on your ass, make it happen. You are the creator of your own destiny, where do you want to be in 5 years? Where do you want to be in 5 months, 5 weeks? Plan ahead, and control YOUR LIFE, don’t let your life control you….

Quick Money Grab From Yahoo Search Marketing Takes Effect today

Yeah, yeah, Yahoo Search Marketing implemented their new B.S rule. Minimum bids are no longer fixed at $.10. So what does this mean? Well you could be paying less, but probably more for your keyword bids.

Higher Bids From Yahoo Marketing - No More 10 cents

Straight from the horses mouth:

  • Sponsored Search minimum bids are no longer fixed at $.10.
  • Content Match minimum bids currently will remain at $.10.
  • Higher ad quality may help you receive lower minimum bids.
  • Currently applies to U.S. accounts only.

The same as their buddies over at Google AdSense, it’s all about the quality score….. Also the number of bidders and bid amounts on a keyword market will affect how much you pay per click. WE will see how this turns out. Luckily I don’t rely on Yahoo very much. I use Google which is even more anal, lol.

Gas prices goes up, food goes up, flour goes up and PPC clicks go up. I don’t give a shit, you want to get ahead make more money, that’s it. No one cares, it’s up to YOU to get ahead. Want more money, then make more pay per click campaigns, that’s it… That’s how I deal with inflation, simple solution for me anyways.
