What the hell is wrong with PayPal. They have fraud prevention that actually stops honest people like me from being able to pay. I have done everything they wanted, I added and confirmed my bank account. They want you to add a bank account so they can verify you are an actual person and not using some type of stolen credit card or whatever to open up and account with them, fine.
I did that!
Then I kept having problems saying I need to verify the credit card I was using? Are you f*cking serious, fine! I verified my credit card with PayPal. I tried to make some payments to online advertisers and still I have problems. I call up PayPal and tell them I have verified my credit card, I have attached and verified my bank account so they know I’m a “real person”. They tell me their is nothing they can do and this is done automatically when they PayPal system detects something fishy with the transactions and I should just try again within 2-3 hours.
Basically their fraud prevention, is preventing honest people from being able to pay online, stupid morons. Even if they want to, they can’t allow individuals transactions to go through, it’s all computer automated. Apparently a computer system is smarter than a human being now.
It blows me away that online fraud has gotten to the point where it’s slowing down and stopping legitimate online e-commerce transactions from being able to happen. PayPal you need to get your head out of your ass, and find a better solution. Some of the online advertisers I deal with allow wire transfers and that is the next route I will be taking. I would rather NOT wire $ 5,000 or $10,000 to online advertising network so I can buy traffic to my sites. It does make me a bit nervous but having balls is all part of the game of life, my balls have gotten me pretty damn far. You can’t too far if your’e living in fear or scared. Anyways, if PayPal doesn’t want my business then F*CK YOU PAYPAL.

If you type PayPal into Google on the first page there is a site called PayPalsucks.com and the whole site is all about how sh*tty PayPal is. PayPal tried to have the site taken down but no luck and good they didn’t. The Internet is about free speech and no one should be able to censor anyone’s right to voice their own opinion!

Last night, I went out for a solo walk around the hood to get some “exercise”, sitting on my ass for 10 hours a day isn’t doing anything good for my body… I brought the Canon sd 750 camera for some added fun to snap my version of “interesting stuff”, it might not be yours though! Sometimes I wonder why I put 1/2 the stuff on my blog that I do but I guess at that point and time it’s something I feel the need to get out there in the public forum.
First off on my East Van photo walk I go by our incredible sh*thole that is a mear 2 houses away from me. It fucking pisses me to see a mess like that in an area where the minimum house price is over $600,000 now. I think I’m may have to be one of those neighbours who has to “call the city”. It’s a damn eye soar, I know he’s going to tear the place down but geez dude, this isn’t a garbage can, people live around and it’s NOT Surrey!
Looks like I live in Alabama or some sh*t! Can anyone say Red Neck?!
After I walked past this sight I went down Rupert Street towards Grandview Highway, then I needed to “unload” luckily Esso was near by. I couldn’t help but snap photos of their clean washroom project, lol.
Two entries per month though, don’t abuse and vote more than that you goofs! And it was up to my standards , it was minty fresh in their can. I enjoyed my stay there, if they had a bed I would sleep over night!
If you bitch about how dirty their washroom is you get a FREE air freshener, wow! Esso cares more about their washrooms than they do the environment, lol. I had to snap that cause it’s sounds pretty silly if you ask me. We all like a clean can but….  FREE air fresheners?
Then I walked by this old school Chevy truck, if I’m not mistaken? It looked all beat up, perfect for my ghetto photo walk..

Ok, this is just plain, hmm, dumb, stupid, weird? I spotted this while walking past WalMart (near Grandview Highway) on the left. Lawn Ads…
There are a few problems with Lawn ads, as I see it:
- For one, what happens when someone walks away with your Lawn Ad? Your advertising is gone.
- What happens whens it’s windy out? No more advertising for you.
- What happens at night? None will see your ads or very few unless they actually walk right next to it.
- Can you promote dating sites on Lawn Ads, how about porn sites?
It’s probably cheaper than buying ads on Google so who knows, maybe I should try Lawn Ads, or maybe not!

I got for walks around my hood every few days (too burn some of my calories cause I sit on my computer too much). Anyways some bought 2 lots 2 houses away from me and has torn one house and down, and left one standing for now until he starts building. The only problem is that it’s turning into a local dump. My area (Renfrew Heights) is looking like the ghetto, but with a million dollar price tag attached to it. Maybe I should rent out the place to some squatters, until they tear it down. Or.. Maybe I should call the city of Vancouver on the builder for being such a clown and letting the mess get worse and worse. ..

1 Comment »I have used Craigslist many times to rent my rental properties, get rid of furniture, even used to do affiliate marketing through it (years ago). I had an website landing page that I needed translated and I wanted someone local to do it. I contacted a few people, one guy said he could do it for 0.06 cents per word, good price. I asked if he was from Vancouver and if we could meet to do the payment. I said this because I wanted to make sure he wasn’t a scammer. I already knew about online translation sites such as Google Translate. I also realize that it’s far from perfect to translate from English to other languages, so the best thing to do it hire someone to do it properly.
The guy calls himself “Chris” and he said he would start right away. He actually said he was from Vancouver, so I thought it would be fine. The next day (today), I emailed him to see how the project was coming along, and he said it was all done. Two minutes later I get an email from AlertPay.com (It’s an online payment processor, like PayPal) stating that deluxkicks@yahoo.com wants to be paid $72.00 U.S. Payment for the “translation”

Why is it US funds?
I then email him back asking why is it in U.S. funds and he says that he lives in Washington D.C. I told him to call me so I can talk to him, his number shows up as (301)437-9953. Maryland area code which is fine since Maryland is next to D.C. I ask him why he said he was from Vancouver in a previous and he said he needs to check his email (why?).
I tell him I wanted to deal with someone locally so I could meet them in person to make sure they weren’t just using an online translation web site to make some quick cash and scam me at the same time. Online translation sites do a poor job of making the article or words sounds proper. He says that I can let one of my friends who understands French to proof read it. He said he could email 1/2 the article for me to look at and then I could send the payment for $72.00 U.S after I approved. It all seemed like bull sh*t to me, such an easy scam really. “OK, send it and I look at it.”
Anyways he sends part of the article over and I went right to Google Translate and boom, it’s the same exact paragraghs word for word, just translated from English to French. Nice try scumbag.
You can give him a call if you want, (301)437-9953 ask for Chris the scammer. I think the number is a prepaid cell phone. Always be careful, someone is always ready to drain your wallet.

I found some one local who isn’t afraid to meet in person, lesson learned. Be careful on Craigslist.com deal locally!
Took 1/2 a day off and took the family to New Brighton Park. The kids played on the swings while I snapped photos of stuff I saw. Some times you just need to say “f*ck it”, and play hooky. I’m the boss so it doesn’t really matter too much. Funny thing is that I always feel guilty when I play hooky, so lame..
