I have been using the off line downloadable Google AdWords Editor to build and manage my campaigns for the last week. The software works awesome, its a huge time saver. This is one problem though…. When I tried to build Google placement targeted campaigns I could build them but I couldn’t upload the campaigns to my AdWords account. And also another bug is that you cannot do CPC (cost per click) for placement targeted campaigns, you can only bid on CPM (cost per impression). My solution? I just did the placement target campaigns online in my AdWords account. I hope the AdWords team will see this.
Other Google Placement Problems
A weird thing about placement targeting sometimes they begin running and others time they just site there. There is no explanation why the ad group isn’t running either. I don’t understand Google, I love doing placement targeting campaigns I just wish they would work all the time or at least tell me what the hell is going on. If I did something wrong , inform me. I am trying to spend money and I am left in the dark without a clue sometimes. If other brick and mortar companies ran their business this way, they would be out of business. Google please start to respect your customers more please! We made you who you are, we spend $1000s every day. All we want is what we deserve.

Kinda depressing outside (it’s raining in Vancouver right now) so a nice sunny shot with baby Stefania is a great way to brighten up my day. Wow, it feels like winter here in Vancouver, but it’s May ! When the hell is the rain going to leave Vancouver alone, argh!!!!! I wish my satellite was working, cause no TV and rain do not mix together very well….
Now I know why I was feeling crusty all day, it’s the fucking weather. I was looking at the computer screen and the screen was looking at me, we both didn’t get ANY work done today. I feel like a tool. That’s it I’m too bored to blog tonight, ciao! Tomorrow will be a fresh start, and I have to do list to help me focus.

Hey Rob, I’m not sure if you have this sweet little tool to generate keywords quickly, I use it all the time. I know there are tons of keyword you can use to generate a list of keywords. For quick campaigns I like to use Google AdWords free keyword tool . The tool is basic but it does the job, and you can download the keywords into txt or csv formats. It’s nothing great but for quick keyword lists it’s perfect.
On another note it’s time I loose a few pounds. I plan on taking a photo of myself in the next day or so and posting it on my blog, we can compare results in 4-5 weeks and see how much weight I have lost. How am I going to drop my weight, easy.
Quick Way That I Personally Have Lost Weight
- Don’t each munchies after dinner, except for carrots, celery and a few almonds
- No eating out at all
- Watch carbs very closely
- Walk some more
- No pop (coke, soda, blah, blah , blah)
Right now my weight is lbs, so my goal is to drop. I have lost weight before then it crept back up after awhile. I’m not huge or anything but I hate having the double chin, looks lame on me. I wasn’t meant for 2 chins, so 1 has to go. I’m at 188 lbs and I promise you it will come down to 175 lbs. I will loose 13 lbs by June 7th, but I think even sooner. I will blog about my weight loss when I feel there is something to share.
That’s all for tonight people.

I just checked my email and I saw that I had an email from my good friends at Google AdWords, cool.

Offer not valid for affiliates? Unbelievable how poorly Google treatr people who do affiliate marketing, what am I a used car salesman? I spend almost $75,000 per month on Google AdWords and they just blow people like me to the side. Harsh way of doing business. Maybe thats why Google’s stock is falling?
Oh well ,what can you do, what comes around goes around I guess?
Last week I had a problem with my Google ads being flagged as “Adult Content”, which was a mistake by Google but they refused to give real answers as to why it was flagged “Adult”. In my post I mentioned that if I resubmitted the ad as it was, it would probably get approved and begin running again. Well….. that is exactly what happened and I am happy to say that someone at Google actually approved the ad, the way it should have been done last week!

Those donkeys can be very clueless and usless. So here is my tip if your ad doesnt get approved look at your website, your ad, and then talk to an AdWords Specialist Idiot. If you can’t get Google to fix your problem and you know it should be running on Google, then just resubmit the ad again. Simple but stupid. I’m sure I lost at least $1000 if not more because of one of my ads wasn’t running but that is life online with the “Big G”.
