In my last post I talked about all the publishers using AdWords for “make money with Google” products scams got their accounts banned forever and they can never return to using AdWords again. As always in this world of ours there always seems to be a loophole or way to do what you’re not allowed to. This isn’t any different.

Can you get a new Google AdWords account after you have been banned?

Yes, you can get back to advertising through Google AdWords. If you are one of the naughty boys promoting biz opps (business opportunities) on Google then you’re a jackass. Well all know how Google loves rebills and you think they would let you use their name in a rebill bizopp? Now you guys know the answer.

I did some digging around and some jerk off is actually selling an ebook on how to get back to using Google AdWords. This is one of the dumbest things I have seen. All the info you need to get your AdWords account back can be found by searching online for free on Google, lol.

Note: I you do get back to using AdWords play by the rules cause Google don’t give 2 shits about anyone except themselves. You’re spending $20,000 a day with Google? They make $63,000,000 (63 million) per day, so they won’t miss your $20,000…

Now get back off your ass and make it happen!

While on vacation one of my intuitions came true. In affiliate marketing offers come and go, it’s the nature of the business. I usually try to stay clear of marketing offers that won’t last long just for the simple fact that I like to have long term income that I can rely on for years to come. These short terms niches can be very lucrative, some affiliate marketers make most of their money from short term niches such as diet fads and so on.

One of the more recent niches to hit the market was the “work from home ” categories. Is it a scam? Yes and no. These are called rebill products because every month the consumer is rebilled a certain amount ($50 or something), until they cancel. Many marketers promote these “make money online” products as free trials, they only pay the shipping (this is true). The consumer pays about $2 for shipping, and has 15 – 30 days to cancel. This is where it can get shady, because many consumers don’t read the fine, and don’t realize they will get charged monthly. They then get rebilled monthly for something like $5o until they cancel. This can easily add up when you are marketing these products, since each “sale” pays the marketer roughly $30-$40. If you get 10 – 20 sales in a day you have $300 – $600 U.S. In a month you could pull $9,000 to $18,000. It can easily add up to huge money.

Read The Fine Print!

Many people don’t read the fine print, or else it’s unlikely they would even buy the product. Many of these “work from home” products were promoting these offers as “Make Money With Google“, and state you can “make $5,000 per month posting links on Google”. Is it true? Yes you can earn $5,000 U.S. per month doing affiliate marketing which does include posting links (buying link ads on Google Ad Words).

Yes, you can make money with Google.com, I am living proof of it. Is it easy, not when you first start. Is it easy to become a mechanic over night? Is it easy to become a graphic artist over night? Is it easy to become a lawyer over night? If you want to “make it”, you need skills, smarts and determination. The reason these products are popular right now are because of one reason, the recession (or so called).

Anyways many people were running advertisements for these products on Google.com, using Google’s name to promote shady work from home ebooks that can work, but won’t work because most people want the “magic secret”. These affiliates marketers have now been banned from advertising from Google for promoting Google biz opps (business opportunities). I’m not too sure what the point of this blog post is. Oh I just remembered now. Most people want to be scammed because they are LAZY.

Diet products for instance shouldn’t even exist. Want to lose weight? Get off you f*cking ass you fat pig. No pill will be the magic solution for your weight problem. Want to make money, then dig in for the long haul, and get eady to make good money if you REALLY want it bad enough.

Who’s Right, Who’s Wrong?

Both parties are to blame. Lazy consumers who want quick and easy money and shady marketing practices that “trick” the consumer to think they will make $5,000 a month by next week. If you want to make money online, then email me and I will guide you in the right direction. I have bought a few ebooks, some great and some not so great but it’s the knowledge I did with ALL the books combined with determination to get me to where I am today. Focus on goals and get ready to learn….

Lately I have been down because like I mentioned my income has dropped because of Google making it harder and harder for affiliates to advertise on their system. I don’t want to go into the whole thing because in reality it’s one of the stupidest thing I have ever had to deal with in my life. Basically Google is trying to eliminate the “middle men” (affiliates), they basically want advertising business only from actual online business, not people promoting for the online business. Confusing? Yeah don’t bother worrying about it, ha ha.

I have been getting away from advertising with Google because they have drastically dropped the amount of traffic they are giving my affiliate sites. I have gone through hoops to follow their guidelines but they just push it way to far. They may control a huge amount of the internet traffic however there are many other places to advertise online and I am in the midst of testing these other sources. Why they are pushing away someone (me), who has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars monthly with them is crazy (especially since I truly do try to make them “happy”). Google will see once their revenues drop in the next quarter that they way treat affiliate marketers is horrible. Hopefully they will realize that this part of the customer base spends millions and millions of dollars with them monthly. In most cases affiliates spend more on promoting products than the actual product owners do. I have no clue why they are doing this, Yahoo and MSN don’t treat people nearly as harsh as Google. There is no compassion or human feeling from the biggest online ad agency.

What comes around goes around, let’s wait and see what happens.

I have found it hard to focus being in such a depressed state of mind. I am going back to my roots and have started watch “The Secret” once again, over and over. I point to “The Secret” as being my number one reason for helping me focus on what I actually want from my life, financially. I achieved every single goal that I wrote down, and some of those financial goals were HUGE.

I am now resetting my thinking to focus on what I want and not what I don’t want. That is the basic principle of the “law of attraction”. Controlling how you feel is one of the most important things that you will ever learn. It worked for me and now it will work again. I don’t want to ramble on and on about this. All I know is that it does work, and I am living proof. Even though I get into these depressed moods lately, I knew in the back of my mind about “law of attraction” I just forgot about it the last while. I am already changing that once again. I don’t want to be the victim anymore, so fuck that, it’s time to start make even more monies online.

Where have I been? Hmm, well I have been busy trying to get my online sales back up. When it rains it pours and this is what happened to me. First off one of the search engines I advertise on, seems to have changed their editorial guidelines and this caused me tons of grief. Like most online companies I deal with they change rules and don’t even tell you about it at all. One day you’re getting tons of traffic to your affiliate offers and the next day NOTHING. This is frustrating to say the least and has pissed me off more times than I even want to remember. Going from $1,000s per day in sales to %10-20% of that can be tough to take. Luckily for me I am smarter than I usually look and I figure ways out of these type of messes.

I am in the process of finding other products to promote to bring my sales back up. Affiliate marketing is either making you ton of cash or it’s dries up, then you need to reinvent yourself and move forward and look at new things to promote. It’s definitely not as easy as you think. You need tough skin, ambition, perseverance and a “I don’t give a sh*t” attitude.

That’s the reason I haven’t been on my blog, it’s a waste of time when I could be making money. That is how I feel, so when the sh*t hits the fan I’m working hard to bring it back up. And luckily I have enough saved up to last me 3 lifetimes. That being said it always sucks when you have the carpet pulled underneath you, it drives me nuts every single time. ARGH!!

I went through all the emotions that I usually do when this happens. I get in a state of denial, shock, angry, depression and then frantic. When I am frantic I start working like a mad man to get things going back up. That’s where I am and have been for the last few days. I hate being where I perceive the “bottom” to be. It’s not as bad as I make it out to be, but for me personally I don’t like where I am so I do whatever it takes to get “back up”.

Working online is a constant battle to get traffic and keep traffic coming. I know for most of you guys it doesn’t make much sense, but let’s put it this way. Making money online is harder than you think, even if the traffic is flowing in. Just because it involves a computer many people perceive it to be “easy money”, far, far from it. This is the hardest I have ever worked in my life, by far.

If I learned one thing this time that I already kinda knew is that things can change from one day to another so you better make sure you’re covered when the well dries up. Having everything in one basket is the biggest mistake that you can make when you work for yourself. Diversification is the key to staying afloat in the “tough times”.

Obviously I love what i do, but it is hard work and can be very emotional to say the least. The emotional ups and downs, can get to you that’s for damn sure. I know I will get back up, because I have been through these type of scenarios (many times) before in the last 6 years and I ALWAYS come out better than before. I come out stronger and smarter but it still SUCKS…..

note: This is not because of the bad economic conditions of the USA or Canada. This is simply due to search engines changing their rules on what products they will allow advertising for. Enough on that.

Enough for now, back to work….

C.V

After venting about my problems in my last post, today I feel a renewed sense of energy today. For those who know me, they know I can bitch and whine, then I just get back into it. For some reason I feel great today, even with the recent pitfalls. But if you can’t get back up when life punches you in the face you’re not much of a man if you ask me. Having pitfalls makes me stronger. Every time something like this happens to me, I get back stronger and make even more money. Maybe that is why I am soo excited? I guess that ’s the reason I feel revived, because I know I am going to make even more money very soon. It’s a weird cycle in my life, when sh*t happens it ALWAYS works out for the better. It’s strange but oh so true scenario in my life.

Maybe it’s just the way I view life, but things always get better for me after they dip. So let’s get this day started and see how great it will be… And if you’re the kind of person to look at the dark side of life, you are doing yourself a huge disservice. When you are down and out, how can you possibly move forward? I will tell, YOU CAN’T! Cry for an hour then work hard after that. Get your spirit back and run with the bulls. Don’t be a wimp, have balls and get it going!

If you’re life is hard, give it the middle finger and tell yourself you can and will succeed. You have no choice but to succeed, it’s you life and you need to control it the way you want it to turn out. Think of your life as a school bus and you are the driver. You need to control it, speed up when it’s needed and put the brakes when you have to. If you need to make detour to get to where you are going, then do it. You are in control of your life, so make damn sure you like the view, if not then change the course of your life.

You have only one life, so live it the way you want to ever single day of it.

Not every day is all smiles, especially when the rent check bounces! That happened to me yesterday. i checked my mail from Vancity (my bank) and I see a returned check from my new renters in the Poco condo. This is where it sucks being a landlord, ugh. I hate dealing with this sh*t. This is a family with 2 young kids, that makes it even worse. Overall I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but in reality you know rent is due on a certain so you should make sure you have the money in your f*cking account! That is the part of owning properties that always suck , dead beat tenants. But I will say it again, being a land lord is better than having a real job, if you ask me…

I called the tenants and then I get a story of course. The wife hasn’t spoke to the husband and doesn’t know what’s going on. She will call back when she finds out, blah, blah, blah. So I get the call back and she will have the rent on Friday long story, short. We will see. If there isn’t any rent then I will give them the 5 day notice in writing. If they don’t pay within 5 days of that notice they are gone. I don’t have time for b*llsh*t. I might sound like an assh*le but after you deal with enough people giving you the run around, your warm side tends to evaporate. Most renters are pretty good people but I hate the long B.S stories, that amount to fresh air spewing out of their mouths. Pay up or F-OFF, plain and simple…

A check is a check, if your boss gave you the run around about why you couldn’t be paid this week how would you feel? Getting checks from people who rent from you is no different, they need to pay for the service I offer, which is a clean home to live in.

That’s enough for now. I feel like Mr. Roper from Three’s Company………. BLAH!

I have tried all the keywords tools out there from WordTracker, the Yahoo/Overture tool which is no longer around and the best one I like is the free keyword tool offered by my buddies over at Google AdWords. The kids at AdWords have just updated their AdWords KeyWord tool to include actual searches for last month on each keyword. This is brand new and something that will put all other keyword tools out of business, that is the only option that it was lacking and now they have it. You can search based on broad match, phrase and exact. In order to get the best search results you need to click on the drop down menu and choose “exact match”. This is the true number of times a keyword has been searched for last month. You can also do keyword research a particular keyword in a particular country, very useful information. Search for “Nike Shoes” in Sweden, or any keyword for any country and then use that information to build campaigns, write articles or whatver you want. Check it out, it’s free and you don’t even needs an AdWords account.

About one week ago, I posted about my AdWords account being suspended obviously I wasn’t very happy about the situation but I learned to live with it. I couldn’t do anything about it. One thing I have learned with working online for the past 5 years is to take everything that happens good and bad and learn from it.

You can make huge money online, and I have done my fair share. With this latest situation, it was unexpected however I learned from it. With every drawback I have ever had online I came back stronger and I made more money after the “crisis”, this last AdWords fiasco is going to be no different.

After I basically had a heart attack from being “suspended from AdWords”, I started thinking about how I can get back on the railroad to success. Since I already have the tracks laid out for me, it is just a matter of jumping into the engineers seat and taking control of the train . I am basically set and ready to go full speed ahead.

My goals haven’t changed I still want my to buy investment properties to make me my $20 k per month, I am already 25% of the way there. That part is easy and I know where to buy , it’s just a matter of when I want to make the down payments and but my Vancouver condo apartments.

Nothing is going to stop me, nothing. I have worked way to hard to stop and kickback now. A drawback is just that a drawback, it’s not the end of the world, unless you think it is. I have gone through so many online drawbacks online, it’s insane. You definitely need tough skin and perseverance to work online. The problem with giving up is this, you will never what could have become because you just let it go. You went back to playing your Guitar Hero, or you went back to watch SeinFeld.

You need to realize many times the answers to your questions are right in front of you, you just need to find the answers. Finding the answers is sometimes easy and sometimes really tough, but either way it’s there waitng for you to find it. The question is this, do you have the faith in yourself to find the answers to move forward?

I don’t consider myself a scholar by any means. Hell I only graduated grade 12 and went to a local computer college for web design. Oh and I also have a certificate as a journeyman cabinet maker. Something more important that schooling is smarts, is YOUR ability to trust yourself and your instincts. You need to have balls, taking risks to succeed is critical. The more chances you take, the better chance you have of making tons of cash online. And “paralysis analysis” is another huge problem for tons of people. They know how to do pay per click, they know all the terms and everything. But they never get started, why? Paralysis analysis…..

If I never quit my job as a cabinet maker making $17.27 per hour back in 1989, where would I be right now? It scares me to think about it actually. You need to consider, the risk and then decide what are the consequences, and if it’s worth taking the chance.

Ans don’t listen to the naysayers, they are usually the ones who have never taken a chance in their whole lives. Boring people who offer nothing but negative criticism. Yeah I’m babbling on now.

Here is the bottom line

I don’t know what you think you can do or what you can think I can do, but remember this. The only thing holding you back from anything is you. Yeah, yeah I know things get in the way, but if you want something bad enough you can have it. I’m going to come back even stronger than before, don’t let anyone hold you back EVER, not even yourself.

Where are you going to be in 5 years from now? Start writing down your goals, so you know………

Logging into my account AdWords account this morning and I see that I have 0 impressions. I then do a quick search on Google.com for some of the keywords that I pay for, they are not there. I get a little worried but at the same time I think it might be one of Google’s little glitches. I then contact an adwords specialist via AdWords online chat.

I explain to the person on the chat what is going on and I wait a few minutes as they are “checking into the problem”. Unsure of the what the problem is, the person then “escalates” it to the “AdWords technical department”. I wait 2 day to get a response back (still no traffic) and I get this lovely email.

Google’s email

“Thank you for your patience. It has come to our attention that your
Google AdWords account does not comply with our terms of service and
advertising policies. You have repeatedly submitted ads that violated our
Affiliate URL policies in a related account. As a result, this account has
been suspended, and your ads will no longer run on Google.

As noted in our Terms and Conditions, Google reserves the right to
terminate advertisements for any reason. To view our Terms and Conditions,
please visit https://adwords.google.com/select/tsandcsfinder.

We appreciate your cooperation.”

I almost had a heart attack, after I read this seriously. I have a family to feed and Google just turned off the waterfall of money. I admit it was my fault, but it was unintentional really. I never meant to break their rules, it’s just that their rules are so vague, they are seriously hard to interpret. They could at least have some suggestions on how I could fix my landing page so I wouldn’t be violating their terms. Their only suggestion was that I direct link to the affiliate company, basically scrap my landing page all together. Is that a good idea, I don’t think since it limits my ability to control how the user interacts with the page. Basically my landing page was designed to convert with a big “click here” button, with some basic information about the site in bullet points, something they don’t like as it is an “affiliate bridge page” in their eyes. It’s tough to make AdWords happy and at the same time have a profitable campaign going, that converts into buyers.

I emailed back stating I was truly sorry and it would never ever happen again.

This is their response

“As mentioned in our previous email, your Google AdWords accounts have been
suspended due to multiple policy disapprovals. We are unable to revoke
your account suspensions, and we will not accept advertisements from you
in the future.

Please note that our support team is unable to help you with this issue,
and we ask that you do not contact them about this matter. If you need
more information about our content policy guidelines, please visit
https://adwords.google.com/select/contentpolicy.html.”

I then called then and pleaded my case, still no go. The AdWords specialists decision is final… ( like a judgement from God). I cannot do anything, I am banned from Google for life, FOREVER. I explained that I was truly sorry and also explained I spend roughly $45,000 per month with them on advertising, no go. $45,000 x 12 months=$540,000 per year that they are saying goodbye to. I am truly in shock that they would let that amount of money disappear, for such silly “violations”.I got kicked to the curb, and I was completely shocked as you might imagine.

Google is my business without it I have nothing. This to me is like life and death, honestly. It’s how I support my family and how I planned on retiring.

So Now What?

Well I started researching online for “banned by AdWords”, “suspended by by AdWords”, “AdWords suspension” and so on. It seems like Google AdWords teams like to ban people very frequently and easily. For the time being I am relaxing and remaining calm. I am still in shock as to how they treated me, I wasn’t trying to advertise porn, it wasn’t gambling. I made the mistake of not designing my affiliate landing page properly (which they call a “bridge page”). I didn’t realize how to create the right design for an affiliate landing page so as to not break Google’s golden rules. I was wrong I admit it, but do they need to ban me forever for advertising for such small mistakes. Even criminals get second chances. We are human and we make mistakes, don’t you Google??? Have compassion for people, it would do you a world of good.

In any case it’s their company they can do whatever they like. I would love to know what amount of advertising income is derived from people like myself, affiliate marketers? They hate us, but how much money do we make Google AdWords? I would love to know………

I did find numerous posts from people wondering if they can create a new AdWords account. Apparently this is a difficult task to do, to say the least. In order to create a new Google AdWords account from what I have read you need to do the following:

New business name

New address

New name.

New credit card

New websites

New computer

New IP address

That is an insane amount to do for being banned from AdWords, to get back in. I guess it would be worth it to do, but seriously I’m too stressed to even bother. Maybe I’ll get my real estate liscense and forget AdWords and their Nazi attitude. It’s amazing how poorly they treat people., but what comes around goes around. No one can stay on top forever, especially if you bit the hand that feeds you…..
