I dressed up as Santa Clause or in this case “Santa Cos”. I look more like Groucho Marx than Santa. I guess wearing your mom’s pink bathrobe, along with a moustache with glasses doesn’t cut it. It kinda scared the hell out of my son, my daughter looks scared as well, eep. Anyways it’s on YouTube for the world to see, enjoy.

I’ll be back in Vegas in January for a few days, I miss you already Vegas!!

For this past week I haven't done too much work, more of being a tourist in my own town (hmm, I only live here part time). It's close to Christmas and my in laws are in town and blah, blah, blah.  We went to Bass Pro which is the largest outdoor store in Las Vegas, it's f'n HUGE. I brought my Canon camera (as usual), to entertain myself and snapped some interesting stuff. I'm not into fishing or hunting or archery, or….  Anyways, the store is super cool with manly stuff such as animal heads, stuffed fish and sharks. Bass Pro actually got a custom bike built by Orange County Choppers, that Santa Claus was sitting on. I was feeling a bit under the weather and took a nice 1.5 hour nap when we got home and I feel refreshed now. Tomorrow is our last day in Vegas, then we go back to Vancouver, but we will return in  a few months when the hot weather comes out and stay for a few moths.   I'm missing Vancouver a bit even though I know the weather will blow when I get back, home is always home (rain or shine)…

It’s fun having a digital camera, so you can snap shots of random dumb stuff that you see in your everyday life . Today’s compilation represents, the Las Vegas outlet stores, and walking around the the Venetian hotel on the Vegas strip to kill a few hours. That’s all I have to report. I’ll be back in Vancouver in 3 days, so if you’re squatting in my house it’s time you leave. Back here in Vegas in January for a few days then I come back to Las Vegas again with the family to stay for a few months  when it’s sun tanning weather (March/April).

Seems like you guys in Vancouver brought us some colder weather down here in the desert state. Some nights the temperature hits zero, but it’s supposed to warm up in the next 3-4 days which is fine by me. I bought this place to get away from the cold winters up in Vancouver!!

We have been checking out some of the Christmas stuff that Vegas puts on this time of year. We had the chance to visit the Bellagio Christmas Conservatory which was pretty cool for the kiddies. Also we drive around the newest hotel called Aria on the strip that has it’s grand opening on December 16th. The hotel is an 8.5 billion dollar project, the biggest ever in Nevada OBVIOUSLY. It’s like 9 buildings, not just one. Hotels in Vegas are never ever just one building they encompass blocks of property.

Aria Hotel is a 9-10 billion dollar hotel project that is having it’s grand opening on Dec 16. Both of these buildings are actually slanted. The hotel consists of numerous buildings. A hotel in Vegas is never just one building, ever. More pics of this insane hotel next week, when it officially opens to the public.

I have been a tour guide the last week, while my parents have come down for a visit. We checked out a bunch of the casino hotels and for this post we visited The Venetian, as well as New York, New York. The go balls out in these hotels because they want you to come and visit them, so they do super elaborate things that will blow you away.
