Switching hosting is a pain in the ass, but if you need to switch your blog to a new host it’s a bigger pain. I’m not the most patient person in the world by any means, that’s one of the reasons I work so hard. I hate waiting, I like results yesterday. That can be a good and a bad trait to have. On one hand I work my ass to get what I want, but on the other hand well I have no patience for regular stuff like city traffic, waiting in lineups at the grocery store and so on.
The problem now is this, I need to switch my web hosting and move my WordPress blog to the new hosting provider. I tried it about 2 months with no luck, I screwed up moving the blog database. And not only am I impatient but I am also kinda cheap. I don’t see the point in paying for 2 web hosts at the same time (something I am doing right now).
Here is the point to this post, does anyone who reads this blog know how to move a blog to another hosting provider? I am willing to pay for it.
I have read the tutorials but I would rather get someone who knows how to do. I don’t have the patience or time to screw around with it. Any takers out there? Email me I would like to get this out of my head and done ASAP. If I don’t find anyone I will just post an ad on Craigslist.com
It’s Monday in Vancouver and it’s nice and hot. We take the sun when we can because it’s not always here to enjoy (last week was dull and gray). Today dinner will consist of Greek food: Greek salad, chicken Souvlaki, Tzatziki sauce and Pita bread. My wife is a great cook, she can print up any recipe from the web and have it taste awesome on the first try. Dinner will be ready shortly, I can’t wait.. Mmmm. And if we go out for Greek food , we go to Stephos down on Davie Street in downtown Vancouver. Stephos has the biggest portions and a very cheap price. This is my favorite Greek restaurant in the city of Vancouver by far. Dinner’s ready…………..
